Tuesday, August 22nd 2017, from 7-9pm, at 3110 West Leigh Street, Richmond VA, there will be another installment in the screening and discussion series centered around the anarchist collective subMedia's film series "Trouble." This event will feature episode 3, "Refugees Welcome: Creating Solidarity Across Borders." From the event description:
"Event is free but bring cash for vegan snax and drinks. $5-10 donations also accepted with all proceeds benefiting ICE Out of RVA. Discussion to follow! Perfect event for newbies and any lefties looking to learn, help raise awareness and make connections in town. BRING YOUR BUDS!"
Open to the public. The venue is wheelchair accessible with a single-occupancy bathroom. Street and lot parking available.

Showing of Trouble Episode 4, "No Justice, Just Us"
Thursday, July 20th 2017, from 7-9pm, at the Community Room (3110 West Leigh Street, Richmond VA), the Scuffletown Anti-Repression Committee is holding a screening of the 4th episode of subMedia's documentary series, Trouble. Episode 4, "No Justice, Just Us," deals with state repression and the ways we defend our movements against it.
$5-$10 donation, with funds going to the support needs and legal fund of the J20 defendants arrested at Trump's inauguration. Vegan snacks and beverages will be served. Open to the public; bring a friend.

"Killing the Black Snake: Behind the Scenes of the #NoDAPL struggle”— "Trouble" Documentary Premiere and Discussion
Sunday, March 26th 2017, from 8-10pm, at the Comm Room (3110 West Leigh Street, Richmond VA), there will be a screening of the premiere episode of subMedia.tv's new series, "Trouble," followed by a discussion. From the event description:
"Submedia, an anarchist media project, intends Trouble to be a platform to "...be watched in groups, and which we hope will foster productive discussions among comrades, or prospective comrades, in the years to come." So, to that end, we would like to have a public screening and discussion with friends, new and old, after we watch the first episode entitled, "Killing the Black Snake: Behind the Scenes of the #NoDAPL struggle”. We hope to do this for every episode as it comes out, so stay tuned!"
Free, open to the public, and all ages. Coffee and beverages will be provided; bring snacks. The venue has a single-stall unisex bathroom, street parking only.
